Table of Plenty has awarded this year’s scholarship to Half Moon Bay High School freshman, Yasmin Shah! Yasmin took a break from serving at the Thursday night dinner to receive her certificate and scholarship award. Her parents, Kal and Melissa, and sister Salma, also a TOP volunteer, joined the dinner as honored guests.  

Yasmin began volunteering when she was a middle-schooler at Notre Dame.  Even at such a young age, Yasmin demonstrated focus and calm and, most importantly, warmth and kindness toward our guests and her fellow volunteers.  Yasmin is willing to help out with whatever is needed, and she volunteers regularly each month even with her busy high school schedule. Yasmin also helped recruit other student volunteers at Half Moon Bay High School’s volunteer Service Jam!
