There is hunger on the streets of the USA.
There should be plenty to eat.
Some who thought they never would
have to sign-up for free food…
The hunger eats away at your dignity,
but come on Thursday
to the TABLE of PLENTY;
No reservations required;
tablecloths, plates and silverware;
The food and the service is inspired;
No matter how poor, we are welcome there.
The harshness of barely surviving
is treated very gently,
as you take your place at
The TABLE of PLENTY.
We were blessed to have TOP’s 1st Review
in 2012 when we were just starting — and
K. Rehm has been a treasured guest for
supper and author of this special poem read
at our Christmas Supper in 2016.
