Sister Jeanette Braun, a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur, and Clyde Beffa Jr. have been honored with the Jefferson Award on behalf of the TABLE of PLENTY!
The Jefferson Awards for Public Service were created in 1972 by the American Institute for Public Service and are given at national and local levels. Each award is sponsored by local media outlets. KPIX Channel 5, the San Francisco-based CBS affiliate, is the Bay Area media partner of Multiplying Good and the Jefferson Award. Sister Jeanette and Clyde Beffa are Bay Area Regional Bronze medal winners.
KPIX5 came to the TABLE of PLENTY on Thursday to videotape the preparations and serving of our St. Patrick’s Day supper. The segment aired on KPIX5 TV and KCBS Radio.
This recognition is a testament to the collective work of our dedicated volunteers, community partners and donors to fulfill a unique mission.
